Our Work with Saint Laurent
Gulf Projects undertook specialist construction and installation works for the Saint Laurent store at Westfield Newmarket, Auckland.
The works included the installation of imported retail joinery, together with the construction and strengthening of internal walls required to support the extensive stone wall finishes and cantilevered display shelving. Wall framing incorporated specifically positioned studs, nogging and plywood backing to accommodate the loads and fixing requirements of the finished display system.
Gulf also supplied and installed the detailed ceiling coves and light troughs, integrating these with the surrounding ceiling and wall construction.
The finished store features a highly detailed combination of black and white stone finishes, mirrored surfaces, polished metalwork, illuminated shelving and freestanding display joinery.
