PPG Paints

This looks to be a straight forward roofing job but was far from it when Gulf was chosen to re-roof the paint laboratory at PPG paints.
A large part of gulf wining the tender was a complex health and safety plan for an extremely challenging working environment as this building mixes and formulates a range of highly volatile paints and has a hazardous substance storage facility nearby. no cell phones/ power tools were allowed on site and the use of gas monitoring was needed during any works that may cause an ignition to lingering gasses .The roof itself had a large amount of extraction and skylight penetrations and a complete rebuild of the box gutter was needed.
